Multan Board result date for 2026
The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) sets one result date for all nine Punjab boards. For Inter Part 1 in 2026 it is 22 October at 10:00 AM. Multan announced its 12th class result on its scheduled date, 23 September 2026, so the calendar has held so far this year. Last year the Part 1 result came on 15 October 2025, after exams held from 20 May to 13 June.
Which Multan Board website to use
BISE Multan runs two official websites, and each has a different job on result day.
| Website | What it is for |
|---|---|
| results.bisemultan.edu.pk | The results portal. Individual results by roll number, a separate portal for private candidates, and an archive of earlier sessions. |
| web.bisemultan.edu.pk | The main board website. Press releases and the “Result Gazette (Inter)” page, where the gazette PDF is posted. |

SMS: send your roll number to 800293
- Open results.bisemultan.edu.pk. Private candidates should use the private results option there.
- Choose HSSC Part 1 (Intermediate Part 1), Annual 2026. Do not choose SSC, which is the matric result.
- Enter your roll number and submit.
If the portal is slow, send only your roll number to 800293 by SMS. For a lookup by name, wait for the gazette PDF on the main website’s Result Gazette (Inter) page and search your name inside it. The board does not offer a separate name search, so sites that claim to are not official.
The results archive also lets you look up earlier sessions. If an elder sibling or classmate took Part 1 last year, their result is still there, which is a quick way to see how the result page looks before your own day.
One of Punjab’s higher pass rates
| BISE Multan, Inter Part 1 2025 | Figure |
|---|---|
| Appeared | 98,856 |
| Passed | 59,308 |
| Pass percentage | 59.98% |
Among the Punjab boards whose 2025 Part 1 figures we have checked, only DG Khan (62.37%) had a higher pass rate than Multan. Lahore passed 53.77% and Gujranwala 49.95%.
Science groups passed above 70%
| Group, Part 1 2025 | Pass % |
|---|---|
| Pre-Engineering | 72.86% |
| Pre-Medical | 70.18% |
| General Science | 62.38% |
| Commerce | 60.36% |
| Humanities | 46.60% |
Both FSc groups cleared 70%, but Humanities stayed below half, a gap of more than 26 points between Pre-Engineering and Humanities.
English is as hard as Mathematics here
| Subject, Part 1 2025 | Pass % |
|---|---|
| Mathematics | 67.09% |
| History of Pakistan | 68.26% |
| English | 68.61% |
| Biology | 77.33% |
| Urdu (Advance) | 77.74% |
| Physics | 78.22% |
| Chemistry | 79.47% |
| Computer Science | 85.38% |
At most boards English sits comfortably above the science papers. At Multan, almost one in three candidates did not pass it, the same rate as Mathematics. The pattern runs across south Punjab: English passed at 75.59% at BISE Bahawalpur the same year, while at BISE Lahore it passed at 88.39%.
English is compulsory for every group, so it affects Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS, I.Com and FA students alike. If English was your weak Part 1 paper, treat it as a main subject in your Part 2 plan, with regular practice in writing and comprehension rather than last-month memorising.
Why your Part 1 marks still matter next year
Your Part 1 marks are not a separate result that disappears. Multan’s Part 2 gazette lists each candidate’s Part 1 marks again, carried forward into the grand total for the full Intermediate. A weak Part 1 paper therefore shows up in your final total unless you improve it.
If you do not pass a paper, you sit it again with your Part 2 exams and still move on to 12th class. The 2026 pass mark question (33% or the new 40%) is explained on our 11th class result 2026 page. For rechecking, apply through the board’s website within the deadline in its notice, usually about 15 days, and check the per-paper fee there first.
