Faisalabad Board result day: 22 October
The nine Punjab boards announce on one date set by the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC). For the 2026 Part 1 result that date is 22 October at 10:00 AM. Faisalabad announced its 12th class result on schedule on 23 September 2026, so the calendar has held so far this year.
The board’s 2026 intermediate written exams ran from 20 May to 8 July, and practical exams from 10 July to 31 August, across 324 exam centres. Last year’s Part 1 result came on 15 October 2025.

SMS: send your roll number to 800240
- Open bisefsd.edu.pk and go to the results section.
- Choose Intermediate Part 1, Annual 2026.

After the announcement the board uploads a gazette PDF with every candidate’s result. It is the only place to find a result by name: open the PDF and search your name or roll number, then match your college to be sure. The board website itself shows results by roll number only, so sites offering a “result by name” search are not run by the board.
Faisalabad’s 2025 Part 1 result in figures
| BISE Faisalabad, Inter Part 1 2025 | Figure |
|---|---|
| Exams held | 26 May to 13 June 2025 |
| Result announced | 15 October 2025 |
| Appeared | 1,08,182 |
| Passed | 60,302 |
| Pass percentage | 55.74% |
By number of Part 1 candidates, Faisalabad was the third largest Punjab board in 2025, after Lahore (1,72,100) and Gujranwala (1,45,417).
Commerce, not Humanities, had the lowest pass rate
| Group, Part 1 2025 | Pass % |
|---|---|
| Pre-Engineering | 73.15% |
| Pre-Medical | 66.19% |
| General Science | 59.62% |
| Humanities | 48.05% |
| Commerce | 47.30% |
At most Punjab boards the Humanities group has the lowest pass rate. At Faisalabad it was Commerce. The commerce papers themselves were not the problem: among regular candidates, 98.39% passed Principles of Commerce and 92.74% passed Principles of Accounting. The published figures do not say where I.Com students lost marks, but it points to the compulsory papers, or to private candidates, who are counted in the group figure but not in the subject figures below. If you are an I.Com student, give English and your other compulsory papers as much time as your commerce subjects.
Where regular students lost marks
| Subject, regular candidates 2025 | Pass % |
|---|---|
| Statistics | 71.36% |
| Mathematics | 71.98% |
| Chemistry | 77.08% |
| English | 79.03% |
| Biology | 80.77% |
| Computer Science | 82.86% |
| Physics | 86.42% |
Statistics and Mathematics were the two hardest papers, with nearly three in ten regular candidates not passing. For Pre-Engineering and ICS students these are the papers to plan around in Part 2.
Four districts, one clear gap
The 2026 12th class gazette gives figures for each district. Among regular candidates:
| District | Regular candidates appeared | Passed | Pass % |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jhang | 14,883 | 12,104 | 81.3% |
| Faisalabad | 51,928 | 40,862 | 78.7% |
| Toba Tek Singh | 14,066 | 10,700 | 76.1% |
| Chiniot | 5,996 | 4,351 | 72.6% |
Pass percentages in this table are calculated from the gazette’s appeared and passed figures.
Jhang had the highest pass rate of the four districts and Chiniot the lowest. Faisalabad district alone sent more than half of all regular candidates.
Private candidates at Faisalabad
In the 2026 12th class result, 78.29% of regular candidates passed. Of 22,371 private candidates, 9,691 passed, which works out to about 43%. If you are a private candidate, a Part 1 paper you are unsure of deserves a fixed study plan from the start of your Part 2 year.
After you see your result
A paper you do not pass in Part 1 is taken again with your Part 2 exams, and you still move on to 12th class. The pass mark question for 2026 (33% or the new 40%) is covered on our 11th class result 2026 page.
If a mark looks clearly wrong, apply for rechecking online on bisefsd.edu.pk within the deadline in the board’s notice, usually about 15 days. Check the per-paper fee in the 2026 notice before paying.
