Lahore Board result date
All nine Punjab boards announce on a date set by the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC). For the 2026 Part 1 result that date is 22 October at 10:00 AM. Lahore declared its 12th class result on schedule on 23 September 2026, so the calendar has held so far this year. In that cycle, theory papers ran from 20 May to 8 July and practical exams ended on 19 August. Last year’s Part 1 result came on 15 October 2025.

SMS: send your roll number to 800291
With close to two lakh intermediate candidates, biselahore.com is usually the first board website to slow down at 10:00 AM. Three ways to get your result without waiting on it:
- Send only your roll number by SMS to 800291. The code has six digits; some websites print it as 80029, which will not work.
- Try the website after the first hour, when traffic drops. Choose Intermediate Part 1, Annual 2026, and enter your roll number.
- Download the gazette PDF once it is uploaded and search your roll number or name inside it. One copy can serve a whole class.
The board shows individual results against roll numbers. The gazette is the way to find a result by name: search your name, then confirm with your father’s name and roll number.
Lahore’s Part 1 result in the last two years
| BISE Lahore, Inter Part 1 | 2024 | 2025 |
|---|---|---|
| Appeared | about 1,62,000 | 1,72,100 |
| Passed | 84,785 | 92,541 |
| Pass percentage | about 52% | 53.77% |
Just over half of Lahore’s Part 1 candidates cleared every paper in each of the last two years. Figures that claim 60% or more for Lahore Part 1 do not match the board’s own results.
| Group, Part 1 2025 | Pass % |
|---|---|
| Commerce | 66.12% |
| Pre-Medical | 61.73% |
| Pre-Engineering | 57.99% |
| General Science | 50.60% |
| Humanities | 42.30% |
Lahore is one of the few boards where Commerce was the best group in Part 1, ahead of both FSc groups.
At Lahore, Mathematics is the problem, not English
| Subject, Part 1 2025 | Pass % |
|---|---|
| Mathematics | 66.36% |
| History of Pakistan | 71.11% |
| Biology | 77.67% |
| Chemistry | 78.02% |
| Physics | 82.94% |
| English | 88.39% |
One in three Lahore candidates who sat Mathematics did not pass it. English, which is a major hurdle at several other boards, passed at 88.39% here, compared with 68.61% at Multan and 74.17% at Sargodha. If you are a Pre-Engineering, ICS or General Science student, Mathematics is the Part 1 paper to plan around.
What this year’s 12th class result shows
The 12th class result was declared on 23 September 2026. Of 1,89,373 candidates who appeared, 1,23,060 passed, a pass rate of 64.98%. Pre-Medical passed at 83.28% and Pre-Engineering at 79.23%, far higher than the same groups managed in Part 1 a year earlier.
How the grades were spread
| Grade, 12th class 2026 | Candidates |
|---|---|
| A+ | 15,093 |
| A | 22,535 |
| B | 35,604 |
| C | 35,111 |
Of everyone who passed, about one in eight earned A+. B and C grades were the most common, together covering more than half of the successful candidates.
Districts, and a gap between girls and boys
| District | Overall pass % | Girls | Boys |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nankana Sahib | 71.15% | 82.23% | 54.29% |
| Sheikhupura | 67.92% | 78.17% | 51.10% |
| Lahore | 64.04% | 73.74% | 51.54% |
| Kasur | 63.02% | 73.54% | 47.54% |
Nankana Sahib, the smallest district, had the best result, and Lahore district itself came third. Girls passed at more than 70% in every district, while boys stayed close to 50%, and in Kasur fewer than half the boys passed. Male students with a weak Part 1 paper should start on it at the beginning of 12th class.
After your result
A paper you do not pass in Part 1 is taken again with your Part 2 exams, and you still move on to 12th class. The 2026 pass mark question (33% or the new 40%) is explained on our 11th class result 2026 page.
Rechecking is done online on biselahore.com within 15 days of the result. It checks for totalling errors and unmarked questions, not a fresh marking. Once you have passed Intermediate, the board also allows up to four improvement attempts within four years, so a weak paper can still be improved later.
